Travelling abroad

Have you ever traveled to a foreign country? Are you familiar with the process of visiting a foreign country?

Depending on the purpose of your visit, the documents that you require may change. Of course, everyone needs to have a passport and an airplane ticket in order to leave the country (and enter another country). If you will be staying in the country for longer than 3 months, you'll usually need to apply for permission or a visa of some sort. Every country's rules are different so it's important to do a little research before you fly off.

Make sure that you don't take any illegal or prohibited items into the country that you will be visiting. What might be okay in your home country might not be legal in your destination country.

Always keep all sharp objects in your checked luggage. If you go through the security check with sharp objects (ex. swiss army knives, knitting needles, scissors), they will be confiscated. And you could possibly be interrogated.

So, be a smart traveler and know the rules before you set off on your next trip!
