Enter any cafe or coffee shop and the #1 thing you see people drinking is coffee.  As a morning beverage, a shot of caffeine in the afternoon, or an after-dinner drink, coffee is more popular than juice, water, or soda.

The effects of caffeine were first noticed by Ethiopian shepherds when they noticed their goats dancing around merrily after eating coffee beans.

Coffee contains antioxidants, which help the body fight off free radicals, decreasing your risk of dying from a disease like Type II Diabetes, Parkinson’s Disease, and heart disease.

Coffee increases your metabolism; this enables your body to burn off fat at a much faster rate than normal.

Why is iced coffee more expensive than hot coffee?  Because it uses more resources to make than hot coffee.  Things like ice, plastic cups, and double-brewing to make it stronger.

Are coffee beans like soy beans?  No.  Coffee beans start off as red / green coffee berries before they become beans.

Coffee improves your performance when you are working out because it increases your levels of adrenaline.

If you’re worried about developing Alzheimer’s in the future, drinking coffee could be a strong preventative measure against it.  Coffee drinkers have a 65% lower risk of getting the disease compared with non-coffee drinkers.

Coffee drinkers also have fewer liver problems than non-coffee drinkers, so coffee may aid in protecting the liver.
