Changing the subject is very simple, but many people forget or don’t change it.
It’s an easy way to sound more natural and it’s a good way to talk in more detail.
For example when I ask students about Kyoto, most students say:
- Kyoto is an old city.
- Kyoto is beautiful.
- Kyoto has many temples and shrines.
- Kyoto has delicious food.
It is nice to expand and talk in more detail:
- The river is nice.
- The autumn leaves are beautiful.
- Shijo has many cafes and restaurants.
- Winter is cold.
Try and expand in class next time!
